Assistant Broker (Corporate Personal Lines)

Role Overview:

The position holder will support the Corporate Broking Team in
servicing Personal Lines-related clients (Motor, Home, Pleasure Craft and Travel), coordinating renewals, preparing quotations and issuing renewal documentation and motor vehicle licenses in relation to motor fleets and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Corporate Brokers in the administration and servicing of personal lines insurance accounts;
  • Prepare quotations, policy schedules, renewals, endorsements, and related documentation pertinent to Personal Lines related business;
    Liaise with insurers regarding underwriting requirements, policy amendments, and claims follow-ups;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date key and corporate client records and documentation;
  • Assist clients with inquiries relating to policies, renewals, and mid-term queries;
  • Monitor renewal dates and ensure timely communication with clients and insurers;
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements;
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, insurers, and business partners;
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and industry best practices;
  • Assist with general administrative duties within the Corporate Section when required;
  • May be assigned additional duties in accordance with company requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customeroriented attitude;
  • A good level of education and an insurance background in a Personal Lines environment is considered beneficial;
  • Preference will be given to candidates currently pursuing or holding a Dip.CII qualification;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation;
  • IT Proficiency including Microsoft Office applications;
  • Fluency in both Maltese and English will be considered an asset.
