Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same.
As part of MIB’s dress down Fridays, this month was dedicated to Pink October for Breast Cancer Awareness. For this purpose, MIB joined in this campaign and apart from the discussions held, staff were encouraged to wear something pink to raise awareness not only at the office but also with their family and friends. The office was also dressed for the occasion. A group photo was taken to remember this day.
